Clean Eating

“Clean Eating” – is a phrase that gets used a lot now when talking about nutrition. But what does it really mean?
For me, its all about putting healthy food into my body so I steer clear of processed foods, refined carbohydrates (post on these to come soon) and sugar as much as possible.
I try to eat foods as close to their natural state as possible and to avoid trans fats from frying and manufactured foods.
Of course, I’m still inclined to some wine on Saturday nights and a slice of cake with a strong cup of tea from time to time but we can’t be perfect every day!!
