Identifying your triggers.

Knowing what triggers your digestive issues gives clues to what’s going on in your gut.

Knowing your unique triggers can really help you get to the bottom of your digestive issues. When you start to be more aware of what triggers your stomach ache, bloating, diarrhoea or constipation then you can take effective action to resolve it.
This is why I ask clients to keep a food and mood diary so we can identify patterns and therefore create an appropriate plan for them. We will also have a detailed look at their symptoms.Causes of IBS or digestive issues can be intolerances, gut bacteria imbalances, SIBO, overgrowth of gut bacteria/parasites/fungus, even stress and lifestyle choices.Knowing the triggers can be a vital clue to what is going on.We will also then know which functional test will be most suitable and what steps will be most effective to resolve the issue.
