As my eldest is back to school tomorrow for just a few days before starting study leave for exams, I thought I’d share the following tips with you…. feel free to add any more in the comments that worked for you!

Ways to support your child in exam build up.
– ensure there is plenty of fresh fruit and veg ready prepped to hand when they want to snack
– Other healthy snacks while they work may be homemade veg crisps, pop corn, edamame or homemade flapjacks
– Keep a jug of water with slices of fruit or cucumber on the table to encourage good hydration
– Ensure they get up and move around for 10 mins every hour, go outdoors, do something active or even take a shower.
– Get them off their screens at a sensible time and reduce blue light and electro magnetic radiation before bedtime.
– If they aren’t having a constructive study session get them outdoors to relieve stress and refocus them.
– As well as a good diet, some supplements can help here. Vitamin B sprays for energy, magnesium at bedtime, vitamin D and zinc for optimum cell function.
