Is your gut happy?

A happy gut is key to wellbeing, hormone balance, mental health and weight management. But how would you know if your gut was not happy? 

There are several signs and symptoms that I look for when taking a case history with a new client. Here are the main ones. which apply to you?

1. Do you find you are feeling bloated, especially by the end of the day?
2. Do you suffer with flatulence or burping?
3. Do you get acid reflux?
4. Is your sleep disturbed and do you take a while to fall asleep?
5. Are you experiencing any acne or skin rashes/dryness?
6. Are your bowel movements irregular or varied in consistency?
7. Are you struggling to lose weight?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions then it could be time to start focusing on your gut health. 

Probiotics are a first call for many but sometimes you need to repair the gut or remove pathogenic (bad) bacteria before adding new strains.
