Natural aids for constipation

Many people, especially women, talk to me about feeling blocked up, sluggish and bloated. 

It leaves you feeling uncomfortable, lacklustre and irritable and it’s becoming a very common issue, mainly due to poor gut bacteria balance from diet choices and stress. 

I can help clients rebalance their digestive health but in the meantime, here’s some quick fixes to get you ‘going’ when you need some immediate remedial help. 

1. Make a very green smoothie – lots of fresh green leaves and vegetables for fibre, a bit of fruit for sweetness. 

2. Have a yogurt loaded with flaxseeds. Flaxseeds are super high in fibre and great at getting things going! 

3. Take a good magnesium supplement to relax the bowel. 

4. Drink lots of water and herbal teas…then drink more!
