So how regular are you?

 The average person only gets about half the recommended amount of fibre each day.
But fibre is a crucial part of your diet – it helps soften stools and move it along the digestive tract. It also helps balance the bacteria in your gut, cuts your risks of bowel cancer, high cholesterol and even osteoarthritis.
Many people cut out carbs which means they cut out important sources of fibre too. That’s why my diet plan includes 2 portions of whole grain carbs and plenty of fruit and veg.
Aim to include pulses, beans, fleshy parts of fruit and veg, seeds in your diet.
